As space expanded, the universe cooled and matter formed. One second after the Big Bang, the universe was filled with neutrons, protons, electrons, anti-electrons, photons and neutrinos.
During the first three minutes of the universe, the light elements were born during a process known as The Big Bang.
Inherent in my work is this notion of a beginning, of where we might fit into a world that stores memories of past, current and future events. I create a visualisation of energy, by using light drawing tools, to map out spaces and environments by harnessing natural elements such as the wind to trace and draw. I document unique, live, site specific performances where I often appear. The Venetian Mirror is a response to a Palladian estate where memories come together to form a universal narrative - the question of who am I and from whence I came.
